大正15年にスタートしてから、約100年に渡って地元の方や観光客に愛されてきた東京都練馬区の遊園地「としまえん」が、2020年8月31日(月)に閉園を迎えました。そしてその跡地を含めた、約27万平方メートルの敷地を活かして誕生する「東京都立練馬城址公園」のうち、一部敷地を利用して「ハリー・ポッター」のスタジオツアー施設「スタジオツアー東京」が2023年夏に誕生します。

スタジオツアー東京の敷地面積は約9万平方メートル、東京ドーム2個分。施設には映画でたびたび登場する大広間や、魔法界へと続く9と3/4番線のホグワーツ特急、ダイアゴン横丁などが設けらます。ホグワーツの動く階段のエリアでは、肖像画の前で自分たちの姿を撮影すると実際に動く肖像画になるという、インタラクティブな体験も用意されるそうです。
